Fresh Faced! : Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask
Yes you, my lovely readers!
This week I'm happy to announce the debut of my beauty segment to The Chic Addiction! I've been as excited and enthusiastic to publish this post as I have been with my skin care over the last few weeks, in order to give you all my honest opinion on products which I've been testing out.
I'll admit that I was never big on skin care, but I knew on that fateful day whilst scratching my T-zone and seeing some skin cascading in front of my eyes that it was time to step it up a notch. Especially with a skin care obsessed friend like What Would Venus Do?.
'Fresh Faced!' is the title of my beauty posts related to Fresh's (my favourite skin care brand) products. It's alright, go ahead. You can facepalm at the pun.
Mt first REAL skin care product was the Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash. I love it, and will have a more detailed review about this product in another post, but what we are really here for today is Fresh's Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy Boosting Face Mask.
I first tested this product 6 months ago, and I was wowed firstly by the smell (so yummy), and after sitting for 5 minutes with it on my skin, it's brightening abilities. Fast forward 2 months later, I now have my own yummy smelling life saver for when my skin begins looking extra dull and tired.
The texture of the Vitamin Nectar Mask is like marmalade. Applying it is on the skin, you get a cool jelly like the feeling which relaxes you especially after a particularly long day, and as I mentioned, the smell is divine. Fresh's products are made from natural products, so don't be surprised to find traces of pulp in the mask!
I normally leave this product on for 15 minutes even thought the recommended time is 10 minutes, and remove with a cotton pad and warm water. My skin is visibly brighter, smooth to touch and well hydrated without having to use a follow up moisturiser after.
Overall, this product receives five hearts! I'm extremely happy with this citrus based vitamin nectar, and the only disappointing thing about this mask is that it isn't edible! I recommend that you purchase this if you're a mask lover, and love to wind down with a cup of tea and good book.
What's your favourite product and why? Do you like natural alternatives as brightening agents? What would you like for me to review next? Let me know, and don't forget to like, comment and share!
